A Hudson Bay Man Charged With Arson Has Been Back In Court

On May 12th, Mounties attended a home in the Leason Trailer Court, trying to locate a man wanted on outstanding warrants. Officers heard a bang from an outbuilding and observed smoke coming from it. They found the suspect, and gas and propane tanks inside, and managed to remove them and extinguish a small fire before anyone could be injured. 30-year-old Matthew Barker was in Melfort Court yesterday, where he was remanded in custody to June 21st.
